In short: Reliance Industries reports Q2 FY27 results on 30 October 2026. In Q1 FY27, revenue rose 25.4% to ₹3,11,850 crore from a year earlier and net profit fell 22.4% to ₹20,946 crore. Things to watch: oil to chemicals, digital services and retail.
What to watch in Reliance Industries' Q2 FY27 results
- Oil to chemicals. O2C EBITDA rose 17.2% from a year earlier to ₹17,010 crore in Q1 on higher fuel cracks and downstream margins, even though a planned turnaround cut production meant for sale by 9.8%. Reliance also said the reintroduction of special additional excise duty on diesel, petrol and jet fuel had hurt margins in its domestic business. The September quarter will show output after the turnaround.
- Digital services. Jio's average revenue per user rose 3.3% from a year earlier to ₹215.6 a month in Q1, its subscriber base reached 533.3 million, and Jio Platforms' EBITDA rose 15.1% to ₹20,865 crore. Jio Platforms shares began trading on 28 October after an IPO priced at ₹1,119 a share, and its own board also meets on 30 October to approve its Q2 results, its first as a listed company.
- Retail. Reliance Retail's gross revenue rose 7.4% from a year earlier to ₹90,408 crore in Q1, or 11.6% adjusted for the demerger of its consumer brands business, but its EBITDA fell 1.1% to ₹6,309 crore. The EBITDA margin narrowed to 7.9% from 8.7%, which the company linked to the growing share of digital commerce and the investment behind it.
- Year-ago comparison. Net profit fell 22.4% from a year earlier in Q1 because the year-ago quarter included ₹8,924 crore of profit from selling listed investments. Reliance leaves that gain out of its recurring EBITDA, which rose 10.1%; with it, EBITDA would have been 6.8% lower than a year earlier, the company said.
