What to watch in Wipro's Q2 FY27 results

  • Guidance. Wipro guided IT services revenue of $2,574–2,627 million for this quarter, a change of −1.5% to +0.5% from the June quarter in constant currency. Where revenue lands in that range is the first number to check.
  • Mindsprint. The acquisition joined on 15 May 2026, so this is the first full quarter that includes it. Wipro does not split organic and acquired growth.
  • Margins. IT services operating margin fell to 16.0% in the June quarter, which Wipro put down to salary increases, the ramp-up of large deals and AI investments. Management's stated aim is 17–17.5%, without a timeline.
  • Deals. Total bookings were $3,370 million and large-deal bookings $1,626 million in the June quarter. Management said some deal decisions had slipped into this quarter.
  • Share count. The ₹15,000 crore buyback was completed in June 2026, so this is the first full quarter on the lower share count, which affects earnings-per-share comparisons.
